History	1982 Shima Laboratories Inc. was established as a manufacturer and distributor of in vitro diagnostic reagents. 1986 Installed the factory in Sakashita, Itabashi-ku. 1989 Moved the factory to 3-chome, Maeno-cho, Itabashi-ku. 1990 Increased the capital to 20 million yen, and renamed ” Shima laboratories Co., Ltd.”. 1993 Established a headquarters factory with production capacity expansion at 1-chome, Maeno-cho, Itabashi-ku. 2001 Research and development building opened. 2005 ISO 9001 certification was approved. 2006 Cell science center was established. 2007 Opened head office annex in the head office neighbor. 2007 ISO13485 certification was approved. 2012 Obtained the license for Manufacturer for in vitro animal diagnostic devices and Marketing authorization for in vitro animal diagnostic devices. 2017 Opened new office, Material building, 1-chome, Maeno-cho, Itabashi-ku and moved Cell science center there. 2020 Opened new factory, 3-chome, Maeno-cho, Itabashi-ku. 2021 Moved Head Office, 3-chome, Maeno-cho, Itabashi-ku.
